I shoot family sessions in a variety of locations. Although I will always go over what is best for your family once we are in contact, I want to share some information about each type of location in order to help you choose. Today I'll highlight the reasons to pick your own house as the session location. First of all, 99% of my newborn sessions are held at home. We scheduled the family photo session around the best light.
The family wore a mix of patterns and styles for the photos.
We were all flexible and understanding with the kids.
I brought gummies to bribe the kids with. Ha! It totally worked too.
I gave directions and posed everyone throughout the session.
And let's be honest...if I still lived in Dallas I could probably reschedule for cloudy weather, but that is going to be rough going in the PNW.
