Wild Blackberries

One more perk to living in the PNW... the blackberries, although an invasive species, are everywhere. We pick a few every time we go outside. They taste so much better than store bought and I love looking at Rufus' little face covered in purple juice.

On Monday David and I took Wally to the vet for the last time. I held Wally in my lap on the drive, feeding him treats and alternating between trying to be peaceful for him and sobbing into his fur. I know our vet explained the process of euthanizing
