As much as I love new clients and meeting new families (it is true that I am a business no matter how many discounts and unwise business decisions I make lol) I LOVE photographing the same families as their children grow. It is so much fun to catch up, have a connection, and take more photos of their changing family dynamics and little ones’ personalities.

When you read “youths” I want you to say it with a sneer and look of annoyance mixed with fear. Aka, “Ugh. Those kids didn’t even move to one side of the sidewalk. Youths! “ If you are thinking you missed something and I am really 85, I am not. Just have had the soul and bedtime of an 85 year old since I was maybe 15.

As Amy was texting me outfit choices we discussed the setting for the photos. Amy and Nate are outdoorsy adventures, who also have a swanky glam side. Knowing this, we shot the first half of their session at the Palladian Hotel Seattle.
