Christmas Cheer in Leavenworth, WA

So, there is something you should know about me and my little family. We love, and I mean, love, the holidays. It was probably obvious from all of my Halloween posts. Or maybe my Instagram when we decorated for Christmas the minute Thanksgiving came to an end. We just love to get into it. This holiday season was no exception. "But Chelsea," you might ask, "you have been talking about how bad your mental state has been." That is true. Having a toddler, increasing my therapy sessions, and having a husband like David made it all happen. David makes holiday calendars. Halloween (his favorite) has an activity or movie for every day of the month. If you live in the Seattle/Bellevue area, you should get a copy. It rocks. Remind me to share it next year. He also makes a Christmas calendar. We have been to Snowflake Lane, Bellevue Garden of Delights, watched Christmas movies, read Ru Christmas books, seen Santa and, best of all, took a little trip to Leavenworth.

Leavenworth, WA, is this amazing, hilarious, sweet, and odd town that is modeled after a Bavarian village. It is so beautiful and fun. We visited the Leavenworth Reindeer Farm (make an appointment, it is SO worth it), ate strudel and brats while listening to German music, played in the snow. It was perfect. Anyways, here are some highlights from our little trip!
